Why isn’t my contact list syncing?
If your contacts aren’t syncing, it’s usually due to permissions or device settings.
Check your app permissions
Make sure Tether has access to your contacts:
- Open your phone’s Settings
- Search for Tether
- Tap on the app
- Ensure:
- Contacts → Full Access (or enabled)
Check your internet connection
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular)
- Try closing and reopening the app
Refresh the app
- Fully close the Tether app
- Reopen it and allow a moment for contacts to sync
Good to know
- Contacts sync from your phone’s contact list
- If a contact isn’t saved on your device, it won’t appear in Tether
