How do I set or change my emergency contacts?

You can add, update, or remove your emergency contacts anytime in the Tether app. Emergency contacts are the people who will be notified if an emergency alert is triggered.

Add an emergency contact

1. Open the Tether app
2. Go to Profile
3. Tap Settings
4. Scroll to Emergency Contacts
5. Enter:
   • Contact name
   • Phone number
6. Tap + Add Contact

You can add up to 3 emergency contacts.

Change an existing emergency contact

1. Open the Tether app
2. Navigate to Settings → Emergency Contacts
3. Remove the existing contact you want to replace
4. Add the new contact information
5. Save your changes

Remove an emergency contact

1. Go to Settings → Emergency Contacts
2. Locate the contact you want to remove
3. Tap the minus (-) icon next to the contact

Important to know

• Emergency contacts should be people you trust and who can respond quickly if needed
• Make sure phone numbers are entered correctly, including area code
• Contacts may receive emergency alerts and location information if an incident is detected
• You must have at least one emergency contact configured for full safety functionality
