How do I cancel or dismiss an alert?
If you trigger an alert and are safe, you can quickly dismiss it from within the app.
To dismiss an alert:
- Open the Tether app
- Locate the active alert screen
- Follow the on-screen prompt to dismiss or cancel the alert
- Enter your Safety PIN if required
Important to know
- You may be asked to verify your identity before dismissing
- This helps prevent accidental or unauthorized cancellations
Always dismiss accidental alerts as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary follow-up.
